WorkSafeBC reviewed all the evidence, listened to construction workers, and agreed that flush toilets on larger job sites can and should be a reality. WorkSafeBC is finalizing regulations to require flush toilets on construction sites. Proper sanitation is a pressing health-and-safety concern, and the regulations should be brought into effect immediately. While some of the industry will try to delay implementation for months and months, workers can’t wait. Urge Premier Eby and Minister Bains to implement the regulations as soon as possible.
